Bookerei has been completely redesigned with a simplified, modern look. The new Bookerei theme brings a fresh, beautiful aesthetic to your reading experience.
Search Online Books
Discover and download books from online providers directly within Bookerei. Support for Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks allows you to browse directories or search using the top search box. Simply select your source from the dropdown, find your book, and click the download icon to automatically import it into your library.
List View - All Books on One Page
View all your books on a single page, intelligently grouped by the first letter of authors' names for easy navigation and browsing.
Keyboard Shortcuts
New keyboard shortcuts improve productivity: select multiple books with SHIFT + click, close the reader with ESC, and more shortcuts to streamline your workflow.
Enhanced Repository Management
Changing repositories has been significantly improved. Bookerei now remembers granted permissions, eliminating repeated prompts. Set your repository path to a cloud-synced location and Bookerei will download books only when needed, saving valuable local storage space.
Clickable Tags
Click on any tag to instantly display all books belonging to that tag, making it easier to organize and browse your collection by topic or category.
Author Management
Edit author information with ease - rename authors, merge with existing authors, or fetch author information from the internet. Author info is retrieved automatically during book metadata retrieval or can be fetched manually. Edit author descriptions to keep your library well-organized.
